About Me

My name is Joey Buyske. By day I am a middle school teacher in Billings, Montana, but I love photography. I have been taking pictures my whole life (from disposable cameras to what I use now) and have started to incorporate more professional images into my portfolio over the past few years. There are few things that make me happier than taking a great photo and sharing it with someone.  Whether it's capturing a special memory, a portrait for a family, a listing for a homeowner or real estate agent, or just a candid moment, the joy that can be shared through photography is contagious.  After 12 years of trying to convince my family to have family pictures taken, I finally persuaded them to take an afternoon to have them done! We decided on a more casual look and had them taken at Riverfront Park. Joey had wonderful ideas and suggestions for group and individual poses. We even had our dog, Max, included in them! We couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out! Unlike other photographers, Joey’s sitting fee was VERY reasonable and he gave us all of the edited prints! Joey perfectly captured our family’s personality! We will definitely use him again!
